We were wondering when the HP Mini 5102 at a much more pocket-friendly price would be announced when covering the $749 business model, and here it is – the $399 variant that offers a whole lot of value for that amount of cash. How does an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, a 10.1″ 1,024 x 600 resolution display, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi N connectivity, Bluetooth support and Windows 7 Startder Edition sound to you? Fork out $525 and you will get double the RAM alongside a choice between Windows 7 Professional and Windows XP Professional. As for the $649 variant, this one ought to last you a fair bit on the road with its 6-cell battery, 2GB RAM, Windows 7 or Windows XP Professional and a Gobi mobile broadband module.
